Mayo Regional Hospital based in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine, announced it had finished its purchase of 5,100-square-foot Corinth (Maine) Family Medicine building from Bangor-based Sunbury Medical Associates and will reopen the facility March 18 once renovations are complete.
Four employees from the medical center will continue to work there when it reopens next week as Corinth Medical Associates, as Mayo begins to phase out operations of its Corinna (Maine) Family Practice, relocating a physician and a certified physician assistant to Corinth before the Corinna facility closes permanently April 30, according to a news release.
Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
