Longview (Texas) Regional Medical Center has formally affiliated with Diagnostic Clinic of Longview, a multi-specialty clinic with 132 physicians.
The clinic has entered a merger agreement with Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems, the parent company of LRMC. That transaction is expected to be completed within the next few months.
LRMC is owned by a partnership that includes physician owners, including some members of its medical staff. Clinic physicians will serve on LRMC's board of trustees and actively participate in hospital governance.
