Illinois Health Partners, the Downers Grove-based joint venture between Edward-Elmhurst Healthcare and DuPage Medical Group, is expanding through new ties to 500 physicians from Northwest Community Healthcare's physician hospital organization, according to a NCH release.
Northwest Community Health Partners is the PHO of Arlington Heights, Ill.-based Northwest Community Healthcare. More than 500 physicians in the PHO are joining the IHP network, which will then represent 1,800 affiliated.
NCH will also collaborate with IHP to develop clinical initiatives and identify quality performance measures that translate to direct improvements in clinical care, according to the release.
The IHP network was formed in 2011 as a JV between Elmhurst, Ill.-based DuPage Medical Group and Edward-Elmhurst Healthcare.
