Naperville, Ill.-based Edward Hospital and Health Services is launching retail clinics in Jewel-Osco pharmacies.
The Quick Care Clinics, as they are called, will accept most insurance plans and offer self-pay options. Board-certified family nurse practitioners and physician assistants from Edward Medical Group will provide treatment for common illnesses such as colds and the flu, and minor injuries such as minor burns. They will also offer physical exams, vaccinations and screenings.
The clinics will be located inside of Jewel-Osco stores in Romeoville, Ill., and Naperville. They will be open seven days a week, beginning Nov. 12.
