Downers Grove, Ill.-based DuPage Medical Group announced Monday plans to acquire Joliet-based Meridian Medical Associates & Midwest Hospitalists, a multi-specialty physician group with 39 physicians.
The terms of the deal were not disclosed, and are still pending completion of due diligence and final negotiations. If approved, DMG will acquire Meridian Medical's Will County locations. DMG has more than 425 physicians and is one of the largest independent multi-specialty physician groups in the Chicago area.
