San Jose, Calif.-based Daughters of Charity Health System Medical Foundation, a medical foundation established by DCHS last year, has added more than 200 physicians to its fold with the addition of Northern Cal Advantage Medical Group.
NCA is an independent physician association with more than 70 primary care physicians and 130 specialists in San Jose.
"With its affiliation with the DCHS Medical Foundation, NCA members can now access a much larger specialist network, not just in Santa Clara County, but throughout California," Huy Trinh, MD, president and CEO of NCA, said in the news release.
"The combined years of experience of more than 70 primary care physicians and 130 specialists will help us change the way healthcare is provided. The sum of their experience allows us to increase our outcomes-driven patient care services and continue to provide those services in a more cost effective manner," Ernie Wallerstein, CEO of DCHS Medical Foundation, said.
