CEP America, one of the largest providers of emergency department management solutions, has partnered with Sierra View Medical Center in Porterville, Calif., Neighborhood Healthcare in Escondido, Calif., and the Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County in San Jose, Calif., to deliver medical services for their patients beginning this month.
Here are three things to know about the partnerships.
1. Under the partnerships, CEP America will staff the ED at Sierra View Medical Center, a 167-bed facility.
2. CEP America will provide physician staffing and oversight for the John XXIII Health Clinic at Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County, a 60-year-old social services and change organization, according to a news release. Specifically, CEP America will provide physician supervision by phone for an onsite physician assistant who sees patients twice a week. A CEP America physician will also be onsite once a week to support two Oakland, Calif.-based Kaiser Permanente internal medicine residents.
3. At Neighborhood Healthcare, CEP America will provide urgent care services to patients. Officials said this center, which provides primary care services, is expanding its evening and weekend hours to increase access for medical care.
