Tucson, Ariz.-based Carondelet Health Network subsidiary Carondelet Specialist Group has acquired six-physician Southwest Heart, according to a Carondelet news release.
The terms of the partnership between the physician group and the Catholic health system were not disclosed.
"The partnership between Carondelet Health Network and these dedicated cardiologists, cardiothoracic and vascular surgeons truly enhances our Network’s cardiac care services," said Paula Register, Carondelet's senior vice president of physician, ambulatory and continuum services. "Our vision has always been to provide high quality, comprehensive cardiovascular care — from prevention and education through Carondelet Medical Group; to intervention, surgical care and post-surgical rehabilitation."
