Healthcare information technology company TriZetto announced intentions to help third-party administrators tap the growing ACO market.
"Accountable care organizations present a great opportunity for TPA," TriZetto's president Steve Rasnick said in a statement. "TriZetto has the integrated solution to help improve population health, control claim costs and administer self-funded benefits under the ACO mode of care delivery in the Medicare, Medicaid and commercial markets."
TriZetto currently provides IT support to 107 benefit TPAs who administer self-funded medical and dental claims for nearly 6 million people, along with other types of benefits.
