STAT News released its annual health and science summer reading list June 25, featuring 39 book selections, including suggestions from CDC Director Robert Redfield, MD, and Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation CEO Susan Desmond-Hellmann, MD.
The books discuss a range of health and science-related topics, including the downfall of blood testing startup Theranos and a former CDC director's life at the organization.
