St. Rose Hospital in Hayward, Calif., will lay off approximately 10 percent of its workforce due to financial tribulations, according to an Oakland Tribune report.
According to the report, hospital officials plan to eventually lay off approximately 70 employees. Twenty-five employees have already been let go, and the hospital's skilled-nursing facility will be shut down.
