The Texas Hospital Association created an app to help hospital leaders get more involved in healthcare policy.
The THA 86th Legislative Session app enables users to contact lawmakers about bills, access resources about relevant legislation and contribute to the THA's political action committee.
"Texas hospitals need to be vocal and consistent and frequent in our communications and engagement with lawmakers and not shy away from talking about hospital operations and finances and what all Texas hospitals need to be sustainable in order to provide the very best patient care," Ted Shaw, CEO of THA, wrote in a December blog post.
