Hospitals in the United States added 14,000 jobs on a seasonally adjusted basis in July, according to data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
Hospitals employed 4,755,800 workers in July, up from 4,741,800 in June 2011. Compared to July 2011, hospital jobs were up nearly 2 percent.
The growth signals recovery for the sector, which experienced its slowest growth for the year in June.
Physicians offices employed 2,360,600 in July, up from 2,354,300 in June.
