Miami Valley Hospital South in Centerville, Ohio, has unveiled a $20 million expansion plan that includes a new cancer center, according to a Dayton Daily News report.
The plans call for 87,000 square feet of space, covering five stories. The cancer center itself will cover approximately 39,000 square feet, while the remaining space will house physician offices. Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton Physicians Network and Radiation Oncology Services will collaborate in running the cancer center.
Hospital officials expect to break ground this September, with a projected completion date of Jan. 2013.
