NEJM Group names education editor: 3 things to know

NEJM Group, a division of the Massachusetts Medical Society that creates medical resources for research, learning, practice and professional development, has named Alexander Djuricich, MD, as its new education editor.

Here are three things to know about Dr. Djuricich.

1. Before he joined NEJM Group, Dr. Djuricich was the associate dean for continuing medical education at the Indianapolis-based Indiana University School of Medicine's division of CME and also the program director of the medicine-pediatrics residency program.

2. Previously, he was medical director for quality improvement at Riley Hospital in Indianapolis from 2006 through 2011, and president of the Medicine-Pediatrics Program Directors Association from 2010 through 2011.

3. Dr. Djuricich is currently vice president of the Society for Academic Continuing Medical Education.
