Most Americans support ACA, don't approve of Trump healthcare policies, poll finds

Though President Donald Trump has centered his healthcare agenda on dismantling the ACA, more Americans support the legislation than his policies, according to an Axios/SurveyMonkey poll.

The poll was conducted online from July 25-27 and surveyed 2,509 adults.

The survey found 43 percent of respondents thought Congress should expand the ACA and 16 percent said it should stay as it is. However, 14 percent somewhat disapprove of President Trump's healthcare policies, and 43 percent strongly disapprove.
