Mid-Columbia Medical Center in The Dalles, Ore., laid off 11 employees, according to a Hood River News report.

1. Among the affected positions are managers and staff-level jobs, according to the report.
2. In the report, MCMC attributed the job cuts to a myriad of challenges, including continued transition in the hospital's EHR and uncertain reimbursement.
3. Outside of the job cuts, three employees received a pay decrease and 10 had their hours reduced, reports Hood River News.
