Traverse City, Mich.-based Munson Healthcare will launch a new brand June 5 centered around the idea of "amazing," according to traverseticker.com.
The new brand is designed to highlight the nine-hospital system's wide reach, with 7,500 employees and 1,000 physicians serving more than 20 counties. Munson Healthcare includes Gaylord, Mich.-based Otsego Memorial Hospital, which joined the system last year.
"If you think about it, some of those hospitals have been the sole community source of healthcare for 50-100 years," Dianne Michalek, Munson vice president of marketing and corporate communications, told traverseticker.com. "And all were branded and marketed as individual entities. This new campaign can unite the entire family of hospitals, providers, outpatient services and more across northern Michigan."
Ms. Michalek said the new brand focuses on how the system helps patients return to doing "amazing" little things in life; the "compassionate care" Munson Healthcare provides; and the various services available systemwide.
According to traverseticker.com, the new branding will debut June 5 but won't affect Munson Healthcare's logo.
