KentuckyOne Layoffs Affect University, Jewish Hospitals

Layoffs at Louisville-based KentuckyOne Health have affected employees at University of Louisville Hospital and Jewish Hospital in Louisville, according to a WLKY report.

System officials have yet to disclose how many employees have been let go, according to the report.

Talk of layoffs at the system surfaced in January, when KentuckyOne President and CEO Ruth Brinkley warned of a workforce reduction in a video. The first layoff notices were issued earlier this month, but with no details as to where in the system layoffs were occurring.
