Oakland, Calif.-based Kaiser Permanente donated $3 million to the Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta to create a program that assists undergraduates at historically black colleges in Atlanta pursue graduate studies in health and biomedical fields, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
The program will offer tutoring, mentoring and research for undergraduates at the Atlanta University Center Consortium, which includes Clark Atlanta University, Morehouse College and Spelman College.
