West Des Moines-based Iowa Clinic selected Cejka Search to lead the executive search process for the medical group's next CEO, according to Hunt Scanlon Media.
Iowa Clinic has more than 250 physicians and clinicians in 40 different specialties. Cejka Search is looking for a CEO with at least 10 years of experience and five years of C-suite experience who can develop and implement a strategic business plan with physician leadership, among other attributes, according to the report.
The role is open after Ed Brown, the clinic's founding CEO, announced plans to leave the role in August. Mr. Brown was CEO of Iowa Clinic for more than two decades, according to the Des Moines Register. Mark Reece, MD, chairman of the board for Iowa Clinic, is currently serving as interim CEO, according to the group's website.
