Hutcheson Medical Center in Ft. Oglethorpe, Ga., has taken on a new name — Erlanger at Hutcheson — in an effort to rebrand the hospital, according to a Times Free Press report.
In May, Erlanger Health Systems agreed to manage Hutcheson Medical Center, which has struggled with physician retention and financial stability. Since the agreement was finalized, there have been improvements at the hospital, including gains in the cardiology and orthopedics departments.
