Denver-based Healthgades, an online platform that provides information and reviews on physicians and healthcare providers, laid off an undisclosed number of employees, a company spokesman told The Denver Post Jan. 5.
"Healthgrades did make some changes this week to enhance our organizational effectiveness and realize operational efficiencies. A very small percentage of employees were affected across the company," Jen Newman, a company spokeswoman, told The Denver Post in an email.
The company's workforce remains around 800 — close to the same number it's been at for the past few years — Ms. Newman added.
