Franciscan Health System yesterday opened a new, 25-bed critical access St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Enumclaw, Wash., according to a news release by the health system.
The hospital includes a 24-hour emergency department with a rooftop pad for medical-transport helicopters, advanced medical and diagnostic imaging technology and private patient rooms.
The new facility replaces Enumclaw Regional Hospital.
Franciscan is part of Denver-based Catholic Health Initiatives.
