Corcoran District Hospital in California Lays Off 19 Employees

Corcoran (Calif.) District Hospital has laid off 19 employees, including some executives, managers and hourly staff, according to a Hanford Sentinel report.

Hospital CEO Jonathon Brenn attributed the layoffs to a recent decline in cash collections due to decreased patient volume, according to the report. He sent a memo to staff saying no layoffs will immediately follow this round, according to the report.
