CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Health System, based in San Antonio, Texas, has laid off 80 employees across five of its hospitals, according to a KENS report.
The layoffs were in response to "overwhelming state budget cuts" and the troubled economy. Several departments were affected, including nursing and management, according to the report.
