On Feb. 23, 2015, Raymond Grady will be president and CEO of Gary, Ind.-based Methodist Hospitals, a 634-bed system with 581 physicians.
Mr. Grady has extensive executive leadership experience in healthcare. He served from 1979 through 2008 at Evanston, Ill.-based NorthShore University HealthSystem. He was president of the hospitals and clinics division and CEO of the system's flagship hospital, Evanston Hospital, when he stepped down in 2008. Mr. Grady then served as chief administrative officer of 15-hospital, Milwaukee-based Aurora Health Care from 2010 to 2012.
He is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and is on the board of the Association of University Programs in Health Administration. Mr. Grady also serves as executive in residence in the department of health policy and management in University of Pittsburgh's Graduate School of Public Health.
Mr. Grady earned his master's in healthcare administration from Ohio State University and his bachelor's degree from Morgan State University in Baltimore.
