CEO of Steward hospital replaced weeks after CFO departs

The CEO of Easton (Pa.) Hospital was replaced Oct. 15 after less than two years at the helm of the 196-bed facility, according to The Morning Call.

Easton Hospital Board of Trustees Chairman Tom Muller confirmed CEO Jeffrey Snyder's departure to The Morning Call and said Linda Grass would take over as the interim chief executive of the hospital.

Mr. Muller confirmed to the publication the hospital's parent company, Dallas-based Steward Health Care, asked Mr. Snyder to leave.

Mr. Snyder's departure comes just weeks after the hospital's former CFO Steve Clark exited the institution. Easton Hospital named Arthur Comito as interim CFO.

Steward acquired Easton Hospital and seven other facilities from Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems in May 2017.
