Charlotte, N.C.-based Carolinas HealthCare System and CVS Caremark's MinuteClinic have announced a clinical collaboration, according to a news release.
As part of the agreement, CHS physicians will serve as medical directors for 16 MinuteClinic locations in and around Charlotte. The two organizations will also collaborate and patient education and disease management initiatives and will work to develop a system to share electronic medical record data.
