The Thomas C. Dolan Executive Diversity Program was established by the foundation of the American College of Healthcare Executives' Fund for Innovation in Healthcare Leadership to honor Thomas Dolan, who served as president and CEO of ACHE from 1991 to 2013. The program honors Mr. Dolan for his service to healthcare leadership and furthers his strong commitment to achieving greater diversity among healthcare leaders.
The scholars include:
- Edward L. Beard Jr., RN, COO/CNO, Catawba Valley Medical Center, Hickory, N.C.
- Lily Jung Henson, MD, chief of neurology, Piedmont Healthcare, Atlanta
- LTC Charlotte L. Hildebrand, U.S. Medical Department, Tripler Army Medical Center, Honolulu
