4 keys to retaining millennial employees

While 6 in 10 millennials are looking for employment opportunities, those who said they work at a great company are 20 times more likely to remain at their job, according to Fortune.

Here are four keys to ensuring your company retains its millennial employees.

  1. Authentic connections with employers are very important to millennials, so make sure your organization works to engage with employees on a personal level.
  2. Linking work to a broader purpose will help ensure that employees feel as though they are working on something worthwhile and bigger than themselves.
  3. Access to development opportunities helps millennial employees learn skills that allow them to grow within their organization.
  4. Demonstrating fairness in promotion lets employees know that good work is rewarded and can lead to new opportunities.
