Tim Moran will resign as president of Methodist Hospital of Sacramento (Calif.) and service area president of its parent company, San Francisco-based Catholic Healthcare West, on April 15, according to a Sacramento Business Journal report.
His resignation comes as a surprise, according to the report. Mr. Moran did not disclose his reason for resigning.
Denny Powell, president of CHW's Mercy General Hospital, in Sacramento, will temporarily oversee Methodist.
