Avera McKennan Hospital & University Health Center in Sioux Falls, S.D., has named David Kapaska, MD, as regional president and CEO, according to an Argus Leader report.
Dr. Kapaska has served as interim regional president of the hospital since September. He is the 16th administrator in the hospital's 100-year history.
Avera McKennan is the largest of Avera Health's five regional centers.
