Paul DellaRocco, CEO of Franciscan Children's Hospital in Boston, has been removed from his post by the hospital board for allegedly inappropriately billing the hospital for expenses, according to a Boston Globe news report.
According to an updated news report, Mr. DellaRocco was relieved of his executive duties due to "inappropriately submitting and documenting expenses." Mr. DellaRocco has publicly refuted that allegation. COO Donna Polselli will take over as CEO on an interim basis as the hospital searches for a permanent replacement.
