Massachusetts-based Partners HealthCare COO Thomas P. Glynn has announced he will leave the health system at the end of the year to teach at Harvard, according to a Boston Globe report.
Mr. Glynn has served as the COO of Partners for 14 years. He will teach a course at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University and become a senior fellow for healthcare delivery reform at the Center for American Progress in Washington, D.C., starting in the spring.
The hospital system will form a transition plan over the next few weeks, according to the report.
