Leo Brideau, president and CEO of Milwaukee-based Columbia St. Mary's Health System, has accepted a senior position at St. Louis-based Ascension Health, according to a Milwaukee Journal Sentinel report.
Mr. Brideau will be replaced by Mark Taylor, the president and CEO of Genesys Health System, which is based in Grand Blanc, Mich., and part of Ascension. Mr. Taylor will begin his new duties on Feb. 15.
Mr. Brideau was unable to discuss his new role at Ascension and details have not been released, according to the report. He had been CEO at Columbia St. Mary's, a branch of Ascension, since 2001.
