White Plains (N.Y.) Hospital has opened the first of five new operating rooms at its main campus, according to a report from White Plains Patch.
The $80 million project will be completed within the next two years and will create between 300 and 400 jobs, according to the report.
In addition to the operating rooms, which will be equipped for robotic surgery,
Funding for these projects comes from a $108 million bond awarded to the hospital by the Westchester County Local Development Agency Corporation, according to the report.
