Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas has begun construction on its new comprehensive cancer center, according to a report from Dallas/Fort Worth Healthcare Daily.
The center will be 49,000 square feet and will contain physician offices, operating rooms, imaging services, inpatient space and physical therapy. The center will also house nonprofit Cancer Support Community North Texas, which will offer social and emotional support and educational seminars and lectures.
The center is scheduled to open August 2014.
