Brentwood, Tenn.-based TriStar Health System has entered a five-year contract with Radiology Alliance, making it the system's exclusive provider, according to a Tennessean report.
Under the contract, Radiology Alliance will interpret diagnostic tests of three additional TriStar hospitals. Radiology Alliance supplants the local group practice that owns Premier Radiology, which formed a joint venture to operate outpatient imaging centers with TriStar rival Nashville, Tenn.-based Saint Thomas Health.
Radiology Alliance did not renew its service agreement with Saint Thomas Health hospitals in order to become TriStar's exclusive imaging provider.
