St. Luke's The Woodlands (Texas) Hospital plans to open an outpatient wound care clinic Oct. 22, according to a Woodlands Online report.
The clinic will treat a variety of wounds, including diabetic foot ulcers, pressure ulcers, venous leg ulcers, arterial ulcers, neuropathic ulcers, surgical and trauma wounds and other non-healing wounds, according to the report.
The wound clinic will offer hyperbaric oxygen therapy chamber treatment, wound debridement, skin substitutes and negative pressure wound dressings, among other treatments.
