St. John Medical Center in Longview, Wash., has completed a $900,000 renovation of its catheterization lab after two years of fundraising, according to a report by The Daily News.
The lab, the second of its kind in the hospital, includes a new imaging machine and will allow the hospital to perform more elective catheterizations and complex pacemaker procedures.
This second lab will also enable physicians to treat more patients. In 2011 the hospital saw an average of roughly 75 patients each month in its cath lab.
