Sharp Grossmont Builds Heart and Vascular Center

La Mesa, Calif.-based Sharp Grossmont Hospital has begun construction on a new heart and vascular center.

The first phase of construction is now in progress, and construction is expected to continue through August 2015, according to a news release. Sharp Grossmont broke ground for the project in April.

The Heart and Vascular Center will cater to cardiac treatments ranging from general cardiology to advanced heart surgery and will feature catheterization labs, multipurpose surgery rooms, a pharmacy and a clinical lab.
