New Emory, Winship Cancer Institute Center to Offer Proton Beam TherapyEmory Healthcare and the Winship Cancer Institute in Atlanta have announced the start of construction on a new cancer center that will feature proton beam therapy.

The new 107,000-sqaure-foot Emory Proton Therapy Center is expected to open in 2016 and treat approximately 2,200 cancer patients annually.
