The National Institutes of Health announced a new agreement to collaborate with Children's National Medical Center in Washington, D.C., to advance pediatric research.
NIH, NIH Clinical Center and Children's National formed the Translational Research in Pediatrics Program to leverage the hospital's clinical expertise and infrastructure as well as NIH's researchers and facilities.
NIH will partner with a research collaborator at Children's National, while the hospital will provide up to 20 inpatient hospital admissions and access to its Clinical Research Center for outpatient visits.
