Mason City, Iowa-based Mercy Palliative Care, part of Mercy Medical Center North Iowa, will extend its telemedicine services to more patients in surrounding areas, according to a Globe Gazette report.
The telemedicine program, which allows patients to be examined remotely by a Mercy palliative care provider via high-definition video and audio, will be extended to patients in Garner and Lake Mills, Iowa, according to the report.
