Lawrence + Memorial Cancer Center to Open Doors

New London, Conn.-based Lawrence + Memorial Hospital's Dana-Farber Cancer Center-affiliated cancer center will open two weeks ahead of schedule in Waterford, Conn., according to a report from the New London Patch.

The 48,000-square-foot center was scheduled to open Sept. 30 but instead will welcome the community Sept. 18.

The new facility is designed to reflect the latest developments in cancer care and patient experience improvement, according to the report..
