La Peer Opens Breast Cancer Surgery Center

Los Angeles-based La Peer Health Systems has opened the doors of a new surgery center for post-cancer breast reconstruction.

The facility, the Breast Surgery Center of Excellence in Beverly Hills, Calif., will specialize in breast reconstruction and cosmetic procedures to improve quality of life and self-esteem for breast cancer survivors, according to a news release.
