Hackensack (N.J.) University Medical Center has opened a new outpatient wound care center.
The Center for Advanced Wound Care is located on HackensackUMC's main campus and features four treatment rooms and three hyperbaric oxygen chambers.
The new facility will provide multidisciplinary care for patients with chronic wounds, including oxygen therapy, wound assessment, lower extremity evaluation, wound debridement, compression wraps and topical dressing and education on the physiology and healing of wounds, according to a news release.
