Good Samaritan Hospital in Nebraska Opens Heart Center

Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney, Neb., is opening its Ron and Carol Cope Heart Center and new building, according to a Nebraska TV report.

Some of the features of the new building and heart center include the following:

•    Three cardiac catheterization labs and space for a fourth lab.
•    Two endoscopy laboratories and an endoscopy procedure room.
•    Nine operating rooms.
•    46 private rooms in the procedure and surgical care center.
•    Six rooms in the post-anesthesia care unit.

Ten departments will move into the new building over the next few weeks, according to the report.
