Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla (Calif.) has begun construction on its $456 million cardiovascular facility, according to a San Diego Times-Union report.
The Scripps Cardiovascular Institute is projected to be completed by 2015. It will join the cardiology programs of Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla, Scripps Clinic/Scripps Green Hospital and Kaiser Permanente, becoming the largest heart care provider in the region.
